MESOPOTAMIA, Nisibis. Gordian III, with Tranquillina. 238-244 AD. Æ 33mm (22.73 g, 6h). Struck 241-244 AD. Laureate, draped, and cuirassed bust of Gordian right and draped bust of Tranquillina left, wearing stephane, vis-a-vis / Tyche of Nisibis seated left on rock outcropping, holding grain ears, river-god below swimming to left. SNG Copenhagen 238. VF, green patina, a little rough.
